Admission Arrangements Consultation 2025-26
Overview
Stockport Local Authority is the Admission Authority for all Community and Voluntary Controlled schools in Stockport, it administers matters regarding admission arrangements on behalf of the Governing Bodies of all Voluntary Aided schools and Academies in the Borough. Accordingly, Stockport Education Department are undertaking this statutory consultation process with parents and other stakeholders for the whole family of Admission Authorities in Stockport.
The Admissions Code requires Admission Authorities to consult on its Admission arrangements every seven years, if no changes have taken place within this time period. The Local Authority wishes to invite interested parties to take part in this consultation on the following items:
- Admissions arrangements for Hazel Grove High School
- Proposed change to the Admission Policy for Gatley Primary School
- Proposed change to the Admission Policies for Cheade Catholic Infant School and Cheadle Catholic Junior School
- Proposed removal of ‘interim criterion’ from the Admission Policy for Reddish Vale High School
- Proposed change to the Admission Policy for St Peter's Catholic Primary School
