Closes 6 Sep 2019

The Opportunity in Town Centre West

Stockport Town Centre is undergoing a renaissance which will see £1bn invested in the Centre. Stockport Council has already generated significant regeneration momentum through its direct interventions in the town’s office market (Stockport Exchange) and the leisure market (Redrock). The time is now right to focus on redefining Stockport’s residential offer as part of the next stage of the Town Centre’s transformation which will ensure its long-term.

Stockport's Unrivalled Connectivity

Stockport Town Centre West is one of the best connected locations in Greater Manchester. It sits at the crossroads of the A6 and the M60, within easy reach of Manchester City Centre and Airport and enjoys good rail links to London and Birmingham. Development in the area has the potential to become a benchmark for green urban living of national significance.

It sits at the heart of the Borough with the potential to connect strongly to its suburbs, providing around 3,500 homes with complementary mixed use development and the social infrastructure required to support a significant increase in population.

Do you agree that Town Centre West has the potential to become an exciting new urban village with a mix of residential and employment uses?
