Our strategy for Zero-Emission and Future Travel is outlined on pages 101-103 and more detail is provided in the accompanying delivery plan on page 125.

As a Council we must support Greater Manchester on its path to being a carbon neutral region by 2038 and help to protect the natural and built environment from the impacts of transport. This section sets out how the strategy aims to support a transition to low-carbon travel by accelerating a shift to zero-emission vehicles, expanding charging infrastructure, and preparing our transport network for emerging technologies. This section will ask for your comments on our strategy and delivery plan for zero-emission and future travel.
