Consultation for the Stockport Transport Strategy 2026-2042

Our Strategy for Bus is outlined on pages 66-70 and more detail is provided in the accompanying delivery plan on pages 113-114. Bus services across Stockport joined the Bee Network as part of the third and final tranche of bus franchising roll-out across Greater Manchester. Local control presents a real opportunity for bus service planning to be undertaken in a more equitable way, for example providing routes which address connectivity gaps across the borough, and providing better travel choices to people who currently live in less accessible parts of the borough. The questions in this section will ask for your comments on our strategy and delivery plan for bus. These proposals can also be seen on the overview map.
