Stockport Bee Network Crossings

Overview

Busy roads can sever communities and make people feel they have no choice but to drive, even on short trips.

We plan to deliver new and upgraded walking and cycling crossing facilities as part of the GM-wide Bee Network Crossings scheme. They will make it easier for local residents to walk and cycle by strategically placing crossings across busy roads.

The crossings will also make it easier to access the Bee Network.

Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) is working with Stockport Council to ensure all residents, businesses and other stakeholders are kept up-to-date on all changes and plans for the scheme.
