PERINATAL FEEDBACK SURVEY – DADS /BIRTH PARTNERS
The Perinatal period is the period of time from pregnancy & up to a year after giving birth. Taking part will help us improve the support dads/birth partners receive in the perinatal period in Stockport.
We are focusing within the first critical 1001 days of child’s life (conception – 2 years) as we know that this has the most significant influence on a child’s social emotional wellbeing and development.

A recent survey suggested 95% of dads/birth partners wanted more support in the perinatal period

Dads/birth partners who feel involved & supported in the perinatal period are more likely to feel attached to their babies,to form early relationships and to protect them from harm

It is suggested 20% of dads/male carers may be affected by postnatal depression and or anxiety in pregnancy and the perinatal period.

Parental mental health impacts the social & emotional health of children.
