Admission Arrangements for all community Junior Schools

The School Admissions Code requires Admission Authorities to consult every seven years on their admissions arrangements. Admissions arrangements must, however, be determined each year by 28th February whether a consultation has taken place or not.

Stockport Council does not intend to make any changes to the admission arrangements for community primary, infant or secondary schools for admission in September 2027.  These will remain largely unchanged from the arrangements for September 2026 except for clarification on some points relating to multiple births; step sibling relationships and what the term temporary address means in relation to admission to school admissions.

Stockport Council is the admission authority for Banks Lane Junior School; Great Moor Junior School and Nevill Road Junior School.  The Council is consulting on admission arrangements for these community junior schools for admission in September 2027.

Proposed change to the Published Admission Number (PAN) at Nevill Road Infant School and Nevill Road Junior School

The Local Authority is the Admission Authority for Nevill Road Infant School and Nevill Road Junior School. The Local Authority is proposing a reduction in PAN for these schools, in line with their current admission numbers.

Admission Arrangements for Laurus Cheadle Hulme

The School Admissions Code requires Admission Authorities to consult every seven years on their admissions arrangements. Laurus Cheadle Hulme is an Academy and Laurus Trust is the Admission Authority for the school. The Local Authority co-ordinates the admission arrangements for Laurus Cheadle Hulme and is hosting the consultation on their behalf.

Admission Arrangements for Cheadle Hulme Primary School

The School Admissions Code requires Admission Authorities to consult every seven years on their admissions arrangements. Cheadle Hulme Primary School is an Academy and Laurus Trust is the Admission Authority for the school. The Local Authority co-ordinates the admission arrangements for Cheadle Hulme Primary School and is hosting the consultation on their behalf.

Admission Arrangements for Marple Hall School

The School Admissions Code requires Admission Authorities to consult every seven years on their admissions arrangements. Marple Hall School is an Academy and Helix Trust is the Admission Authority for the school. The Local Authority co-ordinates the admission arrangements for Marple Hall School and is hosting the consultation on their behalf.

The School Admissions Code requires Admission Authorities to consult every seven years on their admissions arrangements. Romiley Primary School is an Academy and Helix Trust is the Admission Authority for the school.  The Local Authority co-ordinates the admission arrangements for Romiley Primary School and is hosting the consultation on their behalf.

The School Admissions Code requires Admission Authorities to consult every seven years on their admissions arrangements. Our Lady’s Catholic Primary School is Voluntary Aided and the Governing Body is the Admission Authority for the school. The Local Authority co-ordinates the admission arrangements for Our Lady’s Catholic Primary School and is hosting the consultation on their behalf.

Admission Arrangements for Cheadle Catholic Junior School

The School Admissions Code requires Admission Authorities to consult every seven years on their admissions arrangements. Cheadle Catholic Junior School is Voluntary Aided and the Governing Body is the Admission Authority for the school. The Local Authority co-ordinates the admission arrangements for Cheadle Catholic Junior School and is hosting the consultation on their behalf.

The School Admissions Code requires Admission Authorities to consult every seven years on their admissions arrangements. Stockport Academy is an Academy school and the United Learning Trust is the Admission Authority for the school. The Local Authority co-ordinates the admission arrangements for Stockport Academy and is hosting the consultation on their behalf.
