Admission Arrangements Consultation 2026-27
Overview
Stockport Local Authority is the Admission Authority for all Community and Voluntary Controlled schools in Stockport, it administers matters regarding admission arrangements on behalf of the Governing Bodies of many Voluntary Aided schools and Academies in the Borough. Accordingly, Stockport Education Department are undertaking this statutory consultation process with parents and other stakeholders for the whole family of Admission Authorities in Stockport.
The Admissions Code requires Admission Authorities to consult on its Admission arrangements every seven years, if no changes have taken place within this time period. The Local Authority wishes to invite interested parties to take part in this consultation on the following items:
- Admissions arrangements for all community Primary, Infant, Junior and Secondary Schools
- Proposed change to the Published Admission Number (PAN) at Abingdon Primary School, Arden Primary School, Lum Head Primary School, St Paul’s C of E Primary and Westmorland Primary School, and expansion of the age range at Lum Head Primary School and Highfields College
- Admission Arrangements for Harrytown Catholic High School
- Admission Arrangements for St James’ Catholic High School
- Admission Arrangements for St Bernadette’s Catholic Primary School
- Admission Arrangements for Our Lady’s Catholic Primary School
- Admission Arrangements for St Christopher’s Catholic Primary School
- Admission Arrangements for St Ambrose Catholic Primary School
