Stockport Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment 2025
Overview
The Stockport Health and Wellbeing Board has a duty to prepare and publish a regular Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment (PNA).
PNAs are assessments of the current and anticipated pharmaceutical needs of the community. PNAs assist local commissioners and service providers by giving an evidence base for how best to plan pharmacy services to meet the needs of the population.
We are undertaking a full review of the Stockport PNA in 2025, so that we can update our understanding of the priority needs of our population and the current pharmacy provision across our borough. As part of this process we are required to conduct a consultation about our findings.
Why your views matter
We would welcome your thoughts and comments on our draft PNA 2025 report as it is vital that we produce a PNA that reflects our local needs and services accurately. Your feedback will be used to inform the final version of the PNA which will be published in October 2025.
