Improvement works are currently underway as part of the Town Centre Access Plan to make it easier to travel in and around Stockport town centre.

Next Steps

The consultation feedback will be collated, analysed and used to develop the route reclassification proposals. The results of the consultation and final recommendations will be presented to committee for final approval.

Subject to approval, town centre signage will be amended to reflect the changes to the route classifications.
