Naming of the square

Overview

A new public square has been created between Prince’s Street and the new Redrock development on Bridgefield Street, linking the new cinema and restaurants with the existing shopping area on Prince’s Street and through to Merseyway. 

We would like this square to be named after someone significant to you as a Stockport resident or in the life of the Stockport community so we’re inviting local people to put forward suggestions, giving their reasons and the story behind the person and name they suggest.
