Marple Leisure and Community Hub- Public Engagement

Overview

We are engaging with residents and local businesses on the proposed Marple Leisure and Community Hub. Our starting point has been to look at the replacement of Marple Pool and Marple Library on the site of the existing Marple Library but we’d like to hear your views on what else you would like to see. 

If you would like to play a part in helping us to shape a potential Hub building in Marple, now is the time to get involved. We would like to hear your views on the proposed site, along with your thoughts on what the facility could offer to create a vibrant new community heart.

 The planned engagement events on Wednesday 25^th March have unfortunately had to be cancelled due to current circumstances. We will however be extending the online consultation period until Friday 17th April in order to give you a chance to share your views.

This is only the first stage in the public engagement for the proposed Leisure and Community Hub in Marple and we’ve already had a great response and lots of ideas so far. The next stage will see some design options developed in response to your ideas and comments, these will then be shared in future public engagement events and/or online activities, which will give you further opportunities to share your views.
