Register a Brownfield Site

Overview

We are asking the public, landowners, developers and other interested parties to put forward sites they know of and think could be redeveloped to deliver housing in Stockport. This is to support the work of identifying suitable brownfield sites.

Please note: If a site is put forward, it does not mean it will be allocated for that use. Submitting details of a particular site is not the same as submitting a planning application. An assessment of all sites and submitted information will be carried out, and later stages of public consultation on the Local Plan will invite comments on the proposed sites. We will provide information to help explain the decision to either include or exclude a site at that stage.
