St Philips Catholic Primary School & Dial Park Primary School

Our plans for a School Street at St Philips Catholic Primary School & Dial Park Primary School entrances on Half Moon Lane.

The map below shows the proposed closure point. 

These roads will be closed 8:30–9:15am and 2:45-3:45pm i.e. at the start and end of the school day only.

The volunteers/ school staff will close the entrance(s) to these street using cones and signing, and then marshal any vehicles seeking access including those with permits, where appropriate. However, we would ask for everyone to kindly try to avoid the need to drive within the School Street during its periods of operation, wherever possible, to improve the safety of the pupils and parents using this street to get to school.

A permit system will be in use and all eligible residents and businesses will be provided with these free of charge before the scheme starts.
