ITB - Nansen/Firs Road Estate - 20mph Speed Limit Zone
Overview
Proposed 20mph Speed Limit Zone – Nansen/Firs Road Estate, Heald Green
Stockport Council has adopted a policy of introducing 20mph speed limits within residential areas as part of its commitment to improving road safety and creating safer, healthier neighbourhoods. In support of the Council's wider Road Safety Strategy, which encourages walking, wheeling, and cycling, this area has been identified as one where a reduced speed limit could provide road safety benefits for residents and all road users.
